Co-Parenting Class
The Mediation Center's Co-Parenting classes (COPE) offers a nationally renowned, child-focused educational seminar for divorcing or separating parents. This four-hour course is approved in the 17th, 21st & 22nd Judicial Districts in Tennessee (Bedford, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry, Wayne and Williamson counties) and meets the requirements set forth in T.C.A. Sect. 36-6-408 for a Parent Education Seminar.
We further welcome all individuals who could benefit from advice and techniques to help improve their lives as parents. Participants will benefit from a proven curriculum, Transparenting, developed by Families First, Inc. and upon attending class will receive their own Workbook and online resources for further support and a Certificate of Completion.
Our course instructors include attorneys, mediators, professional therapists and educators with a dedication to helping families transition peacefully to a new role after experiencing divorce or separation.
Class is for a mandatory four hours. Children can not attend and childcare will not be provided. The course has a proven nation-wide curriculum. It is child-focused on how to understand and minimize the affect of divorce on a child.
To register for a scheduled class, 1) complete the registration form and 2) select and pay for the class date you wish to attend. All classes use Zoom. Instructions will be provided.
